with Danielle Brenner from The Jersey Farmhouse
All classes cover safe preserving techniques using approved recipes. Ingredients are sourced locally and according to harvest so that participants experience the value of fresh preserving. Each class makes an in-season product. All ingredients and equipment (including jars) are provided. Students take home two jars of what they make in class.

All About Puffs - Monday October 3, 6 pm $45 REGISTER
Learn to make Pate Choux -- a faster, friendlier version of puff pastry. This class will display the versatility of this crisp and delicate pastry, and include a varied menu of dishes for many occasions, ranging from savory to sweet. Menu: Gougeres, Creamed Herb and Chicken Puffs, Hazelnut Eclairs.
We Love Southern Cooking - Tuesday October 18, 6 pm $45 REGISTER
A class inspired by a favorite American regional cuisine -- learn professional tips and tricks when they're brought to a menu of Southern home-cooking. Menu: Hush Puppies, Shrimp and Grits, Kentucky Derby Pie.
The Jersey Farmhouse specializes in preserving New Jersey's freshest produce.Danielle has been canning since she was 11 years old. She hopes that these classes empower people to preserve the local bounty, and heighten our appreciation for what goes into the food we eat.
