2 Day Hands-On Pastry Workshop
Pastry Workshop - Tuesday and Wednesday June 13 & 14
10am - 2pm $125 - REGISTER
If you ever wanted to make fresh baked croissants from scratch, this is the class for you. This workshop is a comprehensive hands-on learning experience focusing on Danish Pastry. Over 2 days you will learn croissants, various Danish pastries and turnovers – with both sweet and savory applications.
Day 1: you'll make 2 doughs: -- the true Danish dough with full recipe and laminating technique, and a quick
"blitz" version of flaky pastry;
Day 2: the fillings; rolling, shaping, and baking the various pastries
The class size will be limited so that students can experience the complete process. Fortification in the form of beverages and a light snack will be served each day, and students will go home with plenty of pastries.
