Drug Deactivation Bags

  1. Sheriff Stanfield and her department are giving out free drug deactivation bags. In a simple 3-step process, anyone can deactivate prescription drugs with these bags, preventing drug misuse while also protecting the
    environment. Bags can be picked up from the Sheriff’s Department or the County Corner in the Moorestown Mall.

Medicine Drop Boxes

  1. Everyone should be aware of the potential for drug abuse and that effort to stop the abuse prescription drugs begins at home. Studies show that a majority of abused prescription drugs are obtained from family and friends, including home medicine cabinets. We have established a permanent medication drop box program in partnership with local law enforcement agencies. 15 local police departments participate in Project Medicine Drop where anyone can confidentially drop-off prescription drugs 24/7
