Today is National Wear Red Day – First Friday in February
National Wear Red Day is observed annually on the first Friday in February to help raise awareness, support and donations for Heart Disease and Strokes in women. The Go Red for Women campaign started in 2004 when the American Heart Association took on the challenge of raising awareness for the number 1 cause of death in women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. Go Red For Women and show your commitment to reducing risk, improving health, and saving women’s lives.

Health Promotion Services (HPS) is a division of Virtua’s Community Nursing Services. HPS in partnership with the Burlington County Health Department provides clinical nursing support, home visitation, health promotion and education services to Burlington county residents. FREE Heart Health and Diabetic Risk Assessment services offered on the 1st Tuesday of the month at the Human Services Building from 9 -11 AM and at the Burlington County Library on the 2nd Wednesday from 10:30 AM – 1PM.
