Annual Senior Citizen Expo Tomorrow
County Sheriff’s Department in collaboration with the Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders will be hosting the Annual Senior Citizen Expo tomorrow Thursday, May 12, 2016. The Expo will be held at the Masonic Home’s Fellowship Center, 1114 Oxmead Road, Burlington Township. Hours will be from 10 AM to 2 PM.
“We will be bringing together more than four dozen agencies and organizations whose representatives can field and answer questions or every topic from social security and taxes to health care and recreational opportunities,” said Sheriff Stanfield
“The expo also is an opportunity for seniors to familiarize themselves with the services offered through the Office of Aging,” continued Sheriff Stanfield. “Information regarding programs such as the County’s Meals on Wheels, legal services, transportation, home security, and much more will be available all in one location.”
Free medical screenings, a raffle and door prizes, document shredding truck, a free lunch, and free tote bags to the first 500 attendees, will also be offered. Those seeking more information can contact the Sheriff’s Department at 609-265-3788.
