[ARCHIVED] Office of Emergency Management 12 PM Update

County Seal

Mount Holly – Early this morning, the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has done preliminary inspections on affected dams. Each dam is operating as designed and no failures have been detected at this point.

We would like to remind residents to not drive on roads that appear wet. Driving through water is dangerous. Residents should avoid traveling unless absolutely necessary.

Edgewater Park has also experienced flooding and has declared a state of emergency.

Freeholder Director Tom Pullion would like to thank all our first responders and Office of Emergency Management personnel for their coordinated effort at this time.

The list of closed roads has expanded. Click here to view the updated road closure list.
