Please do not leave your purse or other valuables in your vehicle while visiting the parks. There have been several smash and grab break-ins of visitors’ vehicles. In each instance, a purse, wallet or other object of value was left in a visible location. Thieves broke the windows of the vehicles to steal the objects. Please leave your valuables at home or lock them in your trunk before arriving at any of the parks. While in the park, be particularly conscious of vehicles with darkened windows, vehicles that are occupied and parked in a location that allows the occupants to watch visitors leave their vehicles, and persons appearing to look into parked vehicles.
