Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield to Host Senior Citizen’s Police Academy Starting April 10th

Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield announced that the her department will be conducting its Senior Citizen’s Police Academy
on seven consecutive Tuesdays beginning April 10
th and running through May 15, 2018. A graduation ceremony will be held on the last day of the academy.

“The free program focuses on safety issues important to seniors,” said Stanfield. “Our department is proud to provide senior citizenswith the opportunity to gain a wealth of information and knowledge.”

“Participants will interact with county law enforcement and public safety staff who will teach them how they can better protect
themselves from violence, accidents and consumer fraud,” explained Stanfield. “All participants will also be provided with a Senior I.D.”

The classes will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Emergency Services Training Center, located at 53 Academy Drive Westampton, NJ
