Linda Hughes, long time Evesham resident, is a healthcare communications professional with diversified business experience working in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Currently, Linda serves as a Senior Communications Associate for BAYADA Home Health Care where she received the BAYADA Home Health Care National “Hearts for Home Care” Rookie Ambassador of the Year recognition in 2015 through her integral role in educating legislators about home care services and its value to both the recipients and to the taxpayers.

Linda has improved the lives of local residents through charitable endeavors and her service on public boards. Before joining the Freeholder Board Linda served on the Rowan College at Burlington County Board of Trustees, the Burlington County Board of Social Services, along with the Evesham Township Zoning Board. She is currently a member of the Center for the Arts of Southern New Jersey. Linda has also served others by volunteering for important charitable efforts including Relay for Life and Superstorm Sandy relief.

Linda earned her B.A. in Communications with a Public Relations specialization from Rowan University. Linda joined the Freeholder Board in 2016. As Freeholder, Linda is committed to cutting taxes, improving services, and ensuring that Burlington County remains the best place to live and work.

Freeholder Hughes' departmental duties include Education, Economic Development, and Human Services and she is responsible for overseeing Resource Conservation and Library/Schools. Hughes serves on the Board of School Estimates for the County College, Special Services, and BCIT. Hughes is a member on the committees of Farmlands/Open Space, Soil Conservation Services, and Board of Social Services. Additionally, Hughes is the liaison to the Bridge Commission.
