The Burlington County Finance Department oversees all fiscal operations of the County. It provides support to the County Administrator in the development, analysis and review of the County's proposed operating budget and capital projects budget. It oversees the issuance of Bond Anticipation Notes and Bonds for various capital projects.
It provides financial trend monitoring and budget support services to departments/divisions. All State and Federal Grant reporting services are reviewed by the Department.
Fiscal Operations has implemented budget forecasting and salary projections from data obtained from Payroll and Human Resources.
Fiscal Operations reviews and updates the budget process as it pertains to forms and documents submitted to outside departments. It has developed the County's annual budget process in a manner consistent with the Division of Local Government Services.
