Help keep our environment clean and green! Participate in cleaning up litter that has made its way into this 55-acre peninsula that is full of ecological diversity. Volunteers are needed. Individuals, groups, and organizations are welcome. Bags, gloves, and grabbers will be provided along with light refreshments and a water jug to refill your reusable water bottle. Enjoy a 4.3 mile round-trip walk on the paved Kinkora Trail. Stroller and wheel-chair accessible! Experience the transition from the active recreation area through woods, farmlands, and meadows. The birding is very interesting, especially in the spring. Bring binoculars and cameras for this walk led by Ranger Kathy. For people not up to the full hike, you are welcome to shorten your trek at any point. Meet in the Mansfield Community Park parking lot, far end. Rain or shine!

Unlike prior events, absolutely NO ewaste, (TVs, computers, etc.) or batteries can be brought to this event.
Staff will unload the cars for on-site shredding. Bring only “confidential” documents, such as bank and credit card statements, tax returns, and papers with account numbers. No binders, plastic folders, computer disks or credit cards. Up to four bags or boxes per car will be accepted.
Already-shredded paper can also be recycled at this event. This free event is sponsored by the Burlington County Freeholders for county residents only. ID is required. No businesses.
