Over 2,500 quilts were documented, primarily through a series of 32 Quilt Discovery Days conducted throughout the state from 1988 to 1991. In 2009, complete electronic data for the quilts were added to the Quilt Index at Michigan State University and are available at www.quiltindex.org.
