From early colonial days to the American Revolution, the Mount Holly Iron Works was a busy place. Join Eric Orange for a walking tour of the extensive grounds and imagine what life was like working the forge and finery. The tour culminates in St. Andrews Cemetery where we will pay our respects to two unknown patriots, and possibly learn the identity of “The Widow of Mount Holly”. Meet in Iron Works Park at the end of Wollner Drive, near the canoe launch. Registration requested.

Students will build Superhero-themed projects with ROK Blocks and do science activities, such as Glow in the Dark Kryptonite, along with creating Superhero crafts and playing games. During this class, you will be experimenting by learning to expand your horizons and observing the world around you viewed through the lens differently. Start off analyzing specific photos and learn why some are more appealing and how they make us feel captivated. Then, venture out around the grounds of the Historic Smithville Park and learn techniques to bag more intriguing images. No matter what the location or subject is, there is always another way to look at it. Prerequisites: An SLR camera and a basic understanding in photography is required for this class.
