    Enjoy all kinds of wonderful art, from paintings to photography, all with a winter theme. Art is available for purchase during the Smithville Mansion Tours and Victorian Holiday events. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the Mansion, a non-profit organization Gallery hours: Thursday-Sunday, 10 AM - 4 PM and Sunday– Noon - 4 PM.

  1. Victorian Holiday Celebration

    December 2, 2018, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

    Join us to kick off the holiday season complete with a visit from St. Nick, who will arrive in the afternoon. Festivities will include ice carving demonstrations, entertainment, kids’ activities, and a holiday marketplace where you can purchase unique gifts. Enjoy a special presentation by the American Magic-Lantern Theater, the Victorian Era big screen extravaganza that led to the movies!  Experience the powerful re-telling of some of our most beloved holiday stories.  Carolers sing your holiday favorites throughout the park. Stop by for some s'mores and hot cocoa by the fire. Lots of photo opportunities for your holiday cards. Look out for that grinchy Grinch and Buddy, the Elf!

    Join us to kick off the Holiday Season at Historic Smithville Park complete with a visit from St. Nick, who will arrive in the afternoon. Expect to see Victorian performers, activities, re-enactors and vendors during this holiday event. The Historic Smithville Mansion will be fully decorated and open for tours all afternoon. Carolers sing your holiday favorites throughout the park. Stop by for some s'mores and hot cocoa by the fire. Lookout for that grinchy Grinch! Event is FREE!

  1. Emerging Artist Art Exhibit

    Local Burlington county residents are featured at the Warden’s House Gallery in a monthly rotation. Please be sure to stop in for each exhibit and experience the unique and diverse array of artistic expression. Artist Statement: “Terrence McCormack is a twenty three year old fine artist and graphic designer. Currently in his Senior year at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Terrence has progressed his practice from classroom cartoon doodles to fine portraiture and abstracted concepts. Working across multi-disciplinary platforms including digital illustrations, collage, etc, he excels in traditional art making practices. Most recent of these mediums have been collage, oil based paints, and graphite.”  - Terrence McCormack Gallery Hours: Thursday - Saturday, 10 AM - 4 PM and Sunday, Noon - 4 PM.

Worker's House

  1. SOUTH JERSEY CROCHET GUILD EXHIBIT

    Come see an array of creations by talented artists. Some of the works on display will include blankets, hats/scarves; lap robes, afghans, prayer shawls, chemo caps and assorted holiday favors for children. It’s an opportunity to highlight this craft and share skills across generations. The guild was founded in 1995 in Willingboro, New Jersey. The guild was created to share information, skills and patterns with all who were interested. In addition, it provides a chance for relaxion, social interaction and a good way to keep physically active both mind and body. Over the years, thousands of items have been donated to people in need through various local/national organizations, charities and hospitals. Gallery hours: Thursday-Sunday, 10 AM - 4 PM and Sunday– Noon - 4 PM.
