    This exciting program, part of a new series, involves using special flashlights with filters that allow us to see UV-induced fluorescence, an amazing phenomenon that would normally be invisible to us. Various plants, invertebrates, mushrooms and more glow in different dazzling colors at night. Led by Park Naturalist Jen Bulava. Open to adults and children ages 10 and up. Due to limited supplies, registration is mandatory.

  1. Members Evening Hike and "Stories of the Earth" Family Campfire

    April 20, 2018, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM

    Join us for a short hike to observe the natural world at dusk. Afterwards we will gather around a fire with naturalist, John Black, as he shares Native American stories of the Earth and natural world. Feel free to bring your own stories to share. Enjoy popcorn cooked over the fire. Register by calling 609-261-2495. There is no charge for this program, but participants must be FRNC members. Annual FRNC membership: $25. Memberships can be purchased at the Rancocas Nature Center.
