    various County parks, meeting at Boundary Creek Parking Lot. Discover and appreciate the diversity of avian life in your own backyard! There’s no better time to observe birds than at the peak of spring migration. Participants will try to find as many species of birds as possible while traveling in between Boundary Creek and Amico Island. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars.   2. Field Trip - Looking for Migratory Birds in Local Hot Spots

  3. Farmer's Market Grand Opening

    May 19, 2018, 8:30 AM - 1:00 PM

    The twelfth season of Burlington County's Farmers' Market will kick off on Saturday, May 19th, opening at 8:30am and running until 1:00pm. The market features locally grown Jersey Fresh fruits and vegetables, poultry, beef and lamb, cut flowers, perennials, artisan cheeses and baked goods, prepared foods, local honey, fresh eggs and so much more. There will be locally inspired artists and crafters, weekly live music and complementary cooking demos. This season we are pleased to welcome back our local farmers who have been with us since the market opened, along with new vendors who are joining us this year. We have 2 new food vendors, preparing delicious and fresh breakfast and lunch foods - so come hungry! For Opening Day, our long-time favorite, April Mae & the June Bugs will be performing. The 10am Cooking Demo will feature Tim Gleason, as he 'Elevates Nutrition' and helps us start the season off healthy.

  4. Photo Focus Call For Artists

    Showcase the hidden gems found throughout the Burlington County’s parks system. Creativity is a must. Highlight a different view, a new angle, your favorite location, or even time of day. Capture something that shows why your parks are important and a place for all to appreciate. Photos to be considered must be shot in one of Burlington County’s Parks. 12 winners will be selected and each winning photo will be featured as a calendar page in a future Burlington County Parks program guide. Gallery hours: Thursday-Saturday 10-4; Sunday 12-4.Art Intake Dates to submit entries: Friday, April 27th, 12-4pm & Saturday, April 28, 12pm-4pm. Limit: 3 photos per artist, $10 per photo entry fee. Art Reception: Saturday, May 5, 1:00 PM.
