    Daniel Horne Exhibit May 29th – July 8th Please join us in welcoming Daniel Horne who has been creating spectacular art professionally for the past thirty six years. His art has graced almost 500 book covers from the Hardy Boys and the Dungeons and Dragon game books, to gallery paintings and one of a kind art dolls Daniel's art is in many private collections including Guillermo Del Toro’s and from "Hong Kong to New York City".   2. Hugh Campbell Exhibit

    Hugh Campbell was a man of many talents. He expressly captured his own view of Mount Holly via his paintbrush.   3. Rancocas Nature Center Photo and Nature Exhibit

    Experience the beauty and diversity of the Rancocas Nature Center at the Workers House Museum and Gallery. Through June, visitors are treated to a display featuring photographs, natural history items and books, and preserved animal mounts--all from Rancocas' permanent collection of artifacts. Find out all the wonderful things the Nature Center has to offer. Gallery hours: Thursday-Saturday: 10 am - 4 pm, Sunday: Noon - 4 pm.

  4. Summer day camp for adults

    June 15, 2018, 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM @ Rancocas Nature Center

    Maybe you went to summer camp, maybe you didn't, but here is your chance to get out with other adults, learn a little, and just have some outdoor fun. Each day will include a trail hike to explore different habitats and we will utilize our surroundings to learn about the natural world. Time for socializing and having fun, included. Please bring a lunch (morning snack provided), water shoes or old sneakers for stream exploration, and dress for the outdoors. For ages 21+. This session: Exploring Rancocas Streams & Wetlands - Learn about the Rancocas Watershed, stream sampling, and wetlands plants and animals. All supplies and equipment provided.

  6. Photo Method: Art of Perpective

    During this experimental class, you will learn to expand your horizons by observing the world around you and view it through the lens differently. Begin by analyzing specific photos, learn why some are more appealing and how they make us feel captivated. Then, venture out around the grounds of the Historic Smithville Park, and learn techniques to bag more intriguing images.  No matter what the location or subject, there is always another way to look at it.  Prerequisites: An SLR camera and a basic understanding in photography is required for this class.
