  2. Macie Art Glass Exhibit

    Experience the many hand crafted ways to work with glass and create art. Macie Art Glass presents: A Journey into Art Glass. As a medium, glass is a diverse material that allows the artist great flexibility in expression. Glass is also still a relatively unexplored frontier for artists. It’s characteristics present hurdles for one’s creative mind, but once understood, glass delivers a vision unlike any other material available to us. With examples of stained glass panels executed in both lead came and copper foil method. Together with mosaics made from glass and kiln formed examples of art glass on display, the gallery is full of works showing the diversity of this amazing material.   3. Summer camp kayaking

    August 7, 2018, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Whitesbog

    Created for Rancocas former summer campers ages 13-17 years-old, these kayaking experiences are fun and educational. Participants will learn how to safely kayak the headwaters of the Rancocas Creek in the Pine Barrens. Whitesbog’s “LittleTank/Big Tank” is the ideal place to experience a cranberry farm system with its unique habitat. Please eat before arriving at the site and dress for the water activity. Register for only one of the days – space is limited to 10 kayakers per day. Directions to the Whitesbog site will be sent to registrants. Carpooling is suggested. Cost: $60, includes insurance, kayak, paddle, life vest, snack, and a 20% donation to The Rancocas Nature Center. Register by calling RNC at 609-261-2495. Payment is made on the day of the program.
