Most people are unaware of the pivotal role this Mount Laurel native played in procuring the political rights American women now enjoy. This presentation and discussion explores Alice Paul’s life, her roots in the New Jersey Quaker community, and her work for women’s rights in the U.S. and around the world. Refreshments will be served. The presentation is sponsored by the Burlington County Lyceum of History and Natural Sciences Association. Registration requested.
