    Burlington County's version of the Christmas Bird Count, a scientific survey of the bird species that over-winter in the County Parks. Participants will identify species by sight and sound at specified locations within each County Park (not for beginner birders). If you would like to contribute your bird identification skills to help the Parks System with the census, please register online. Group size is limited, and registration is required. Exact start times will vary and are available at the time of registration. Prepare for at least 2 hours of cold and windy weather at each location

    Our next free rabies clinic will be held on December 17th from 3:00pm - 3:50pm. We are asking that you sign up via the link at the bottom of this post. Please do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes prior to your time slot. When you arrive form a line to the left of the main entrance following the sidewalk around the building. Please be prepared for the day's weather. If your pet has had a previous rabies vaccine please bring proof so it can receive a booster valid for 3 years without it we will only mark the vaccine valid for one year.

    Prerequisites: A camera (digital recommended) and a basic understanding of photography. Formerly Olympia Lakes, this 105-acre park is now re-opened to the public. With an interesting lakeside loop trail and views of curious islands scattered across the lake, Willingboro Lakes is the perfect place to experience the cool crisp winter air. Learn some simple techniques to capture more intriguing images. No matter the location or subject, there is always a way to look at it from another perspective. We will meet near the parking lot. Please dress appropriately for the weather and conditions, as we will be hiking through the park.
