Every other Wednesday, Naturalist Kate will post a new video on our Nature Programs Page that highlights a local species to better understand their behaviors, natural history and/or significance in the environment. This month will focus on red-tailed hawks and turkey tail mushrooms.

  2. Victorian Holiday Celebration

    Historic Smithville Park & Smith's Woods

    An event that will be sure to get you in the holiday spirit! The Victorian Holiday Celebration is an annual tradition at Historic Smithville Park that kicks off the holiday season with festive tours of the Smithville Mansion and Village. Take a ride on a train or horse-drawn carriage, try to stay on the Rodeo Reindeer, skate on the synthetic ice skating rink, and roast a S'more! Visit the Holiday Marketplace to shop for unique gifts for family and friends. Santa arrives by horse-drawn carriage, and there will be plenty of photo opportunities to capture the perfect family photo for your holiday cards! Live entertainment by The Village Carolers and the Cinnaminson Middle School Choir. Event is free. There is a nominal fee to tour the holiday decorated mansion. Proceeds from the tours and s'mores benefit the Friends of the Mansion at Smithville.
