Burlington County has a long and illustrious history, yet many residents know very little about the events that took place in their own backyards. Local history is rarely seen as significant to anyone other than the ardent, local historical society. Well, for some school students in the County this will soon be changing. A new curriculum focused on Timbuctoo has been written by a group of teachers from Rancocas Valley Regional High School and Westampton Township Middle School and they received a 2020 Burlington County History Award for their work. It’s never too late to learn, so tune in and experience a little bit of the classroom from home. The presentation will take place on Zoom. Registration is required. A Zoom link will be provided upon registration.
