    Lunchtime walks are an excellent opportunity to exercise, explore nature, meet new friends, and get to know parks in your backyard. Walking has many health benefits; join this healthy one-hour lunchtime walk at Smithville Park. We will meet outside the Visitors Center and leave at noon. Please wear comfortable walking/hiking shoes, bring water, and let's get moving! The route is approximately 2.5 miles with some elevation and stairs. Feel free to walk at your own pace. The event is FREE, and registration is required.

  2. Country Line Dancing

    We are excited to announce the return of the 2023 Country Line Dancing series at the Burlington County Fairgrounds. Did you ever want to learn Country Line Dances? Now is your chance! Country Line Dancing takes place in the beautiful pavilion at the Fairgrounds, and all ages are welcome! Show off your skills or learn the basics! The dancing begins at 7 PM and will be done by 10 PM. Jeremy Duncan will be giving dance lessons throughout the night. The Fairground is located at 1990 Jacksonville/Jobstown Rd., Columbus. Parking is at the Red Barn, gate #1. Dates: April 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, May 3rd,10th, 17th, 24th, & 31st This event is Free; Registration is required.

    Focusing primarily on portraiture, Pattie chooses subjects that captivate her in some manner or strike an emotional feeling. Painting her beloved Labrador, Penny, was an inspiration and a catalyst for her many commissioned canine portraits. Working in oils with a limited palette and layers of glazing , she captures the eyes of her subjects, as they tell the real story. Reception: June 23, 5-7 pm Gallery Hours: Thursday-Saturday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Sunday: 12:00 - 4:00 PM
