 HOME LOAN GUARANTY BENEFITS

One of the best-known VA benefits programs is the home loan guaranty program, a program designed
to help a veteran purchase, construct, or refinance his or her home on terms more favorable than those
of conventional mortgages loans by providing a VA guarantee for the lender against the veteran's default.
Mortgage lenders are more likely to lend to a veteran on more favorable terms, such as no down payment
and a lower interest rate, when the VA insures them against the veteran’s potential default on the loan.
