All persons who enter the Courts Complex buildings are subject to security screening checks, which include: X-Ray of all packages, metal detectors and hand scanning of individuals for weapons.
Sheriff’s Officers routinely provide security in all courtrooms, transport prisoners both within Burlington County and other jurisdictions, and respond to any emergencies within the complex at a moment’s notice. Sheriff’s Officers transport adult & juvenile defendants from various county detention facilities to our courts, other court jurisdictions and detention facilities, as well as various programs as mandated by the courts.
