There have been several veteran affair programs that provide educational assistance to veterans and under certain limited circumstances, to the spouses and children of veterans. Each program has different entitlement requirements.
Conditions
No recipient of veteran affair educational assistance may receive benefits under more than one educational assistance program at the same time. Most colleges have a veteran’s financial adviser available to assist.
