Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio announced today that resurfacing of a 1.3 mile portion of Hainesport-Mt. Laurel Road/Greentree Road in Mount Laurel and Evesham Townships is expected to begin on June 12, 2017. The project will be completed in two stages.
“The first stage of the project involves pavement milling and overlay of Hainesport-Mount Laurel Road/ Greentree Road from Academy Drive in Mount Laurel to Maple Avenue in Evesham,” said Director Garganio. “The work is expected to take about a week to complete and this work will be performed during nighttime hours.”
“The second stage of the project involves pavement milling and overlay of Greentree Road from Maple Avenue to Lincoln Drive East in Evesham,” added Garganio. “The work is expected to take about two weeks to complete and this work will be performed during daytime hours.”
Traffic will be maintained during milling and paving operation. Motorists using the roadway may experience delay and are recommended to find alternative routes during the work.
The work is being done by American Asphalt Co., Inc., West Collingswood, New Jersey, as part of the County’s 2015 State Funded Overlay Program. A total 26 miles of roadway in 12 municipalities are being resurfaced through shared State & County funding.
