We provide in the home health care and skilled nursing to Veterans, Medicaid recipients, long term care insurance, VA Benefits, and private pay. Carousel of Home Care sends Certified Home Health Aides and skilled nurses to patients homes to assist them with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, exercises, light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparations. We also do skilled nursing such as wound care, vitals, pill box fill/sort, dressing changes and medication application.

Job Duties

Companionship, bathing, dressing, toileting, light housekeeping, meal preparations.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Certificates/Licenses

CHHA or RN license issued by the Board of Nursing. Carousel of Home Care can assist and help pay for CHHA licenses.

Benefits

Work Schedule

Monday-Sunday Full or part time, per diem.
Shifts Vary.
Hours range from 10 up to 60 per week.

Location: Mid-State Correctional Facility - 8401 Range Road, Fort Dix, New Jersey

Work Schedule: Sunday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and Monday - Thursday (12:30 - 9:00 PM) OR Tuesday - Friday (12:30 - 9:00 PM) and Saturday (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)

Clinical Supervisors are responsible for

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling the management and delivery of quality client services related administrative and support activities within a defined substance abuse treatment program.
Review clinical treatment activities, results and documentation.
Ensure compliance with program and Foundation standards and objectives, and applicable contracts & regulations.
Participate in developing program budgets, goals and policies.
Ensure effective implementation & administration of same.

Job Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree or Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with Bachelor’s degree including or supplemented by (30) semester hour credits in social work, sociology, health, nursing, psychology, rehabilitation, or counseling, or any combination.
Must have three (3) years of experience at a recognized substance use disorder treatment agency.
LPC with CCS or ACS; OR LCSW with CCS; OR NJ LCADC with CCS required.
Minimum three (3) years supervisory experience.
Must obtain NJDOC clearance.
Drug screen, background check, DOC criminal checks, TB Test, Miter test, psychical exam.

Physical Requirements

Ability to walk and move about the facilities for up to two hours at a time, to monitor and interact with clients.
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Ability to record, proofread and check documents and files for accuracy, to prepare and analyze data and figures, transcribe, read.
Ability to use a keyboard and video display terminal to receive, retrieve, and/or audit information and data.
Ability to respond to telephones, and to hear and detect alarms and unusual noises.

Compensation (based on experience and credentials)

Range is between $65,000-73,000 annually.
Sign-on bonus of $3,000.
Gateway Foundation conducts annual reviews including merit increases.
