Join our Park Rangers for an overnight camping experience in the park. Go for a sunset hike with the sights and sounds of the seasonal night life in the park followed by a campfire under the moonlight. Bring your own tent, camping gear, and food (cooking on fire is allowed). Registration required. Meet at Long Bridge Park 895 Deacon Road, Hainesport, NJ. Severe weather will postpone event and registrants will be notified.

Visit Historic Smithville Park to see works by the talented teens of Burlington County. Schools throughout the region will be represented. This will be a great opportunity for students, families and the community to see the artwork in a gallery setting. Gallery hours: Thursday-Saturday 10-4; Sunday 12-4. Reception will be held April 27 at 1 PM.

The Burlington County Board of Chosen Freeholders, in cooperation with the Friends of the Mansion at Smithville invite you to celebrate the opening the 2019 Smithville Mansion Tour season. During Smithville Day, the afternoon will be filled with music, games, history and crafts. The Smithville Historian will be offering tours of the village that will give you a glimpse of life at Smithville during the 1800’s. Along the way, you will see a display of bicycles of a by-gone era, presented by the New Jersey Wheelmen. Enjoy the music of the Golden Eagle Band. The centerpiece of the event is the Historic Smithville Mansion. Take a tour, offered for a nominal fee, hear the stories of its most colorful and innovative residents, H.B. Smith and Agnes Gilkerson Smith and see how they lived. Join us for a fun filled, old fashioned afternoon at Historic Smithville Park.

MOUNT HOLLY IN THE MID-20TH CENTURY THROUGH THE EYES OF HUGH H. CAMPBELL - Hugh H. Campbell was a man of many talents. He expressly captured his own view of Mount Holly via his paintbrush. He was an artist, published author and philosopher who lived an extremely minimalistic life. Learn more about him and see select works from the Hugh H. Campbell Collection.

Rotating exhibits featuring works by different artists will be coming this Spring to the Wardens House in historic downtown Mount Holly. Featured in this exhibit is the work of Lawrence Davis. Lawrence’s work reflects the timelessness of Americana in the form of landscapes and barnscapes. His work reflects that of the "Brandywine Valley" School of painting made popular by the Wyeth Family and Howard Pyle.
