Every other Wednesday, Naturalist Kate will post a new video on our Nature Programs Page that highlights a local species to better understand their behaviors, natural history and/or significance in the environment. This month will focus on tiger swallowtail butterflies and garter snakes.

  2. The History Of Memorial Day

    Many celebrate Memorial Day with days off of work and school, picnics, parades, and view it is the official start of summer. But do you know what it really stands for or why the holiday was started? Learn the history of this holiday in which we honor our military.. The program will take place in-person on the patio and Zoom. Please register for only one date and time. Space is limited at the in-person program and registration is required. Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing will be enforced. The program will be repeated on May 25.
