During this photo wander, we will venture through Historic Smithville Park. The focus will be on learning some simple techniques to help you have a better understanding of what might make images more intriguing. No matter what the location or subject could be, there is always another way to look at it from a different perspective. Prerequisites: A camera (digital recommended) and a basic understanding in photography. Please dress appropriate for the weather, as we will be hiking through the park. Register Online.

Join Cara Griffin in making homemade pot stickers! Perfect for any occasion, these juicy pot stickers can be filled with a variety of different fillings – traditionally pork and cabbage. Did you ever want to try Zumba, here’s your chance! Zumba is a high energy fitness class that promotes overall wellbeing. It incorporates a variety of dance moves, promotes a healthy heart, a healthy dose of aerobic activity, great way to build and tone muscles, improve cardio, promotes flexibility and best of all decrease stress. Who’s joining in on the fun? Starting on June 3rd and every Thursday in June we will meet from 6:00 – 7:00 in our event tent on beautiful grounds of the Smithville Mansion.
