Welcome to the Burlington County
Medical Reserve Corps
The mission of the Burlington County Medical Reserve Corps (BCMRC) is to improve the health and safety of communities by organizing and utilizing public health, medical and other volunteers. One aspect of the BCMRC is to enhance the County’s emergency preparedness by ensuring that a trained group of healthcare professionals and community volunteers are ready to respond to public health emergencies.
Anyone with an interest in health issues can volunteer. We need licensed or certified health care professionals, practicing or retired, living or working in Burlington County.
We also need community volunteers such as interpreters, chaplains, social workers and support staff.

| From Disaster Response to Everyday Support - MRC volunteers are on the front lines when communities need them most: ✅During Natural Disasters – Assisting with evacuation shelters, distributing supplies, and providing medical care in emergencies like hurricanes and wildfires. ✅In Public Health Emergencies – Supporting vaccination clinics, helping with pandemic response, and educating communities on disease prevention. ✅Providing Mental Health Support – Offering crisis counseling and emotional support to first responders and disaster survivors. ✅Assisting First Responders – Working alongside firefighters, police, and emergency teams to provide medical and behavioral health aid. ✅Building Stronger Communities – Teaching CPR, first aid, and emergency preparedness skills to local residents. Across the country, MRC volunteers are saving lives and strengthening our communities. If you’re already a volunteer, thank you! And if you’re not, you can be. No Medical Experience? No Problem. While MRC volunteers include doctors, nurses, and EMTs, there’s also a huge need for non-medical volunteers who can assist with logistics, administration, and community outreach. Anyone with a heart for service can contribute. Video: https://biteable.com/watch/4390862/182d3ec3fc20890f4ac7570164dbb625 |
