Description: Construction has commenced on the County Route 530 Improvement Project- Phase I. This project is the first phase of construction for the $37 million County Route 530 safety improvement program. The Phase I construction work will relocate Magnolia Rd. (CR 644) to the east and also extend the road behind the existing Burger King Restaurant to intersect Hanover Street (CR 616). In addition, this project includes constructing storm drainage improvements and installing a new fully actuated traffic signal at the intersection of Magnolia Rd. and CR 530. Benefits of the Phase I project include improved traffic flow along CR 530 and improved access to Pemberton Borough from Magnolia Road.
Impact: Drivers should expect traffic delays when traveling through this area. No roadways will be closed or detoured for the construction of this project.
