Meet the Burlington County Woman of the Week for February 22, Gabrielle Terzano!
Gabrielle Terzano is currently the Events Coordinator for the in Moorestown. She has a Master’s in Nutrition with a concentration in Obesity and Nutritional Health and she is extremely passionate in advocating for other women to be the healthiest they can be. She schedules all of the cooking classes at the Burlington County Agricultural Center by working with local chefs, farmers and entrepreneurs in the area to promote local, in season produce and nutrition. She also created a run club that meets every Saturday morning during the County Farmers Market season. Meet the Burlington County Woman of the Week for February 15, Council member, Jo-Ann Weiner!
Jo-Ann Weiner is a licensed Enrolled Agent and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. She worked for the IRS for 35 years before starting her forensic tax accounting practice in 2013. While she has in depth technical tax law knowledge, she also has compassion and understanding for the emotions people experience when facing audits.
Jo-Ann currently served as a national speaker teaching tax law and tax controversy resolution skills to other practitioners. She received NAACP’s Frances Hooks Award in 2014 for showing courage in promoting diversity and building bridges across cultures. She was named a “Woman to Watch” by SJ Biz magazine.
Jo-Ann has created a nonprofit called “Women, Words, and Wisdom” which celebrates women each year with a Panel of Power themed for the national Women’s History Month theme.
Jo-Ann is a member of The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, the National Association of Enrolled Agents, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, and Burlington County Women’s Advisory Council.
She is a Director on the Board of the NJSEA leading several initiatives for them. She is also on the Executive Leadership Team and the Red Dress Circle for the American Heart Association. Jo-Ann is a member of NAWBO’s National Advocacy Council and a past Board Member for the NAWBO SJ.


Meet the Burlington County Woman of the Week for February 8, Jennifer Bulava! 

Jennifer is the Lead Park Naturalist for the Burlington County Parks System. Jennifer is responsible for planning and conducting nature programs and all other aspects of environmental education for the public within the County Parks System. Her programming consists of outdoor, indoor, and virtual activities for people of all ages, including park visitors, schools, scouts, and local clubs/organizations. Jennifer also keeps a natural resource inventory of plants and animals within the Parks system and continually updates the lists by conducting scientific surveys throughout the seasons. She has worked for the Department of Resource Conservation for 20 years and for the Division of Parks for 13 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management with a specialization in Conservation and Ecology from Cook College, Rutgers University. In 2017, she was honored with the Outstanding Environmental Educator Award from the Alliance for NJ Environmental Education.

Jennifer has lived in New Jersey for all of her life and currently resides in the heart of the Pinelands. In her spare time, she loves to visit, hike, and photograph the National Parks with her husband. She is never without binoculars and a camera. Nature photography allows her to illustrate the diversity of life and scenic beauty we take for granted, while educating people about the importance of conservation and uses some of her photographs in the programs and lectures for the Burlington County Park System.
