[ARCHIVED] Curbside Recycling Collections Will Be Delayed by Several Days for All Municipalities

A national truck driver shortage is impacting trash and recycling collectors, including the County’s recycling contractor, the Occupational Training Center (OTC).

The OTC is working aggressively to solve this problem, but recycling pickup will be delayed for the next several weeks.


Makeup days have been confirmed for the following towns:

Thursday, June 10th - Tabernacle*

*Tabernacle collections began on Thursday and continue thru Tuesday.

Monday, June 14th - Joint Base MDL, New Hanover, North Hanover, & Wrightstown*

*All scheduled towns on Monday will have collections continue thru Tuesday

Tuesday, June 15th - Pemberton Twp.*

*Pemberton Twp. collections will begin on Tuesday and continue thru Wednesday.

Wednesday, June 16th - Pemberton Boro & Washington Twp. and Mansfield*

*Mansfield collections will begin on Wednesday and continue thru Thursday.

Thursday, June 17th - Florence, Fieldsboro, Bordentown Twp. *

*Bordentown Twp. collections will begin on Thursday and continue thru Friday.

Friday, June 18th - Chesterfield

Makeup dates for additional towns will be posted daily. 

If you do not see your town listed, your makeup day has not been scheduled. Makeup dates for additional towns will be posted daily. 

All municipalities do have a recycling drop-off that we kindly encourage residents to utilize during this time. Please check your municipality’s webpage for current hours and location.
