[ARCHIVED] Memorial Day holiday recycling schedule


The Burlington County Department of Solid Waste and Recycling announced changes to the recycling schedule next week due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Recycling collections for the towns listed below will have their collections shifted one day because of the holiday:


Memorial Day 2022 Holiday Schedule

 Eastampton, Lumberton, Mt. Holly, Southampton

Recycle Tuesday, May 31st

Hainesport, Mt. Laurel

Recycle Wednesday, June 1st


Cinnaminson, Maple Shade, Palmyra, Riverton

Recycle Thursday, June 2nd


Joint Base MDL, New Hanover, North Hanover, Pemberton Boro., Pemberton Twp., Tabernacle, Washington, Wrightstown

Recycle Friday, June 3rd


Evesham Twp.

Recycle Saturday, June 4th

Burlington County is one of the only counties in New Jersey to collect recycling from all its towns and one of the few to not charge a fee for this service. Last year, more than 45,000 tons of waste were recycled through the program, saving towns and their taxpayers more than $3.3 million in landfill disposal fees.
