[ARCHIVED] Burlington County Winter Restaurant Week Starts Sunday With New Participants and Specials

Winter Restaurant Week 2024

Burlington County’s Winter Restaurant Week kicks off this weekend and will feature several new participants and scores of great dishes and specials that foodies will be excited to taste.

The weeklong celebration of Burlington County’s best restaurants, taverns and eateries begins Sunday, March 3, and will continue through Saturday, March 9. More than 60 restaurants, food trucks and craft beverage businesses are participating, with most offering special menus, dishes or discounts special for Winter Restaurant Week.

The Burlington County Commissioners, State Senator Troy Singleton and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce also plan to highlight the participating establishments throughout the week by making visits and posting spotlights about them on social media.

“Burlington County has so many incredible restaurants that offer a variety of different foods and drinks, so Restaurant Week is a great way for us to promote them to our residents and visitors,” said Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson. “The week continues to grow each year with new participants and delicious specials for everyone to sample. We can’t wait to see what some of Burlington County’s best chefs have cooked up and we want to encourage residents to enjoy a night out”

This is the second winter-edition of Restaurant Week. The promotion began in 2019 but was expanded to twice a year in the winter and summer for the first time last year.

This week’s celebration will feature at least 10 first-time participants. They are: Baba Grill in Cinnaminson, Brewery Thirty-Three in Riverton, Christopher’s Deli & Catering in Mount Holly, The Cool Cricket in Fieldsboro, Harvest Seasonal Grill in Moorestown, Mi Pueblito in Medford, Rocco’s Pizza in Florence, The Spirit of San Juan Food Truck in Mount Laurel, Whistlers Inn in Cinnaminson and Zaddy’s Roast Sandwiches in Mount Holly.

A full list of participating restaurants and specials is available at https://www.co.burlington.nj.us/1844/Winter-Restaurant-Week-2024 .

“Restaurants and breweries are wonderful places to gather together to enjoy great food, beverages and company. They create jobs, inject money into our local economies and bring visitors to our local business districts,” said Senator Singleton. “Winter Restaurant Week is another opportunity to showcase the many great spots we have in Burlington County and we are excited to see many of our favorite places participating again, along with several new ones we hope residents will try.”

At least ten of the participating restaurants have special menus or price fixed meals planned. Many others will award discounts to patrons who mention Burlington County Restaurant Week, and some will offer special menu items created exclusively for Restaurant Week.

“Restaurants, pubs and other eateries are some of the most important businesses in any community and Burlington County is lucky to have such a diverse and robust list of establishments to choose from,” said Kristi Howell, president and CEO of the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce. “Winter Restaurant Week is the perfect time to discover a new place or visit a longtime favorite.”
