[ARCHIVED] Burlington County Open Space & Recreational Needs Assessment

Burlington County recognizes the importance of community input in guiding investments in existing and future open space and recreational facilities. The County is seeking feedback from residents to help identify the recreational facilities, programs, and preservation efforts that best meet the needs of the community.

We encourage residents to participate in this survey and help identify open space, park, trail and recreational needs in our County.

This survey has questions related to passive recreation, such as walking trails, nature-based activities, open space, and community programs, which are a primary focus of the Burlington County Park System. There are also questions related to active recreation, including organized sports fields and courts, which have traditionally been managed at the municipal level. Burlington County has supported active recreation through initiatives such as the Municipal Park Development Grant Program. The county continues to explore different ways to improve the Burlington County Park System and preserved open space so it is an asset for residents and communities.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated! This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete and is one of several tools the County will use to gather public input to assist Burlington County with the update to their Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP). The information collected will help guide future planning, policy decisions, and investments related to parks, trails, recreational facilities, and open space preservation.

All survey will remain anonymous. Thank you in advance for your time and effort to make Burlington County an even better place to live, work, and play.
