Burlington County has received a grant from the New Jersey Historic Trust for renovation and repair of several buildings located in Historic Smithville Park. The Historic Trust requires that contractors submitting bids for this work be prequalified.
The first step in the prequalification process is to draft prequalification regulations that are subject to public review and public hearing before the governing body. After public review and adoption of the regulations by the County Commissioners, the prequalification regulations are sent to the NJ Department of Community Affairs and the Historic Trust for review and approval.
Once approved, we will send a second notice out advising that the County will be accepting prequalification statements from interested contractors.
Only contractors determined to be qualified will be able to submit bids for the work.
There is no need to complete the qualification statement at this time.
