Burlington County Farmers Market Ready For Grand Finale of 2025 Season

Home - County News Posted on December 03, 2025

Searching for that perfect holiday gift? Looking for decorations or delicious foods for upcoming parties or gatherings? Tired of paying extra for shipping or the stress of waiting for packages to arrive?

The search ends Saturday at the Burlington County Farmers Market, where shoppers can find everything they need for the holidays at a single location.

This Saturday’s special Holiday Market will be held from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Burlington County Agricultural Center, 500 Centerton Road, Moorestown. It’s the last market day of the season and the final opportunity for shoppers to visit their favorite local vendors to load up on end-of-the-year produce, farm fresh lamb, beef, eggs, seafood, teas and coffees, beers, spirits, local honey, baked goods, cheeses, holiday greens, gifts and more.

Close to 90 vendors are expected, including 18 area farms, 36 food vendors and 34 different crafters and artists.

There will also be live music, story reading with Mrs. Claus, a cooking demonstration, rabbits from the 4-H Carrot Club and alpacas from the Windy Farm Alpacas farm in Chesterfield.

“The Burlington County Farmers Market always features a wide variety of tasty foods and handcrafted goods, but the Holiday Market features extra artists and vendors. In fact, it’s usually the biggest market of the year,” said Burlington County Commissioner Deputy Director Allison Eckel. “Whether you’re a newcomer to the market or a Saturday regular, this last market is a must for anyone shopping this holiday season.”

Now in its 19th season, the Burlington County Farmers Market is held rain or shine each Saturday May through November. There are also several preseason market days in March and April.

The market is credited with helping numerous local farms and small businesses sell their products and in 2024 was voted the No. 1 farmers market in New Jersey during the American Farmland Trust’s annual poll. This year it finished No. 2 in New Jersey and No. 3 in the Northeast.

Earlier this year the market was also voted No. 4 in the nation during USA Today’s 10Best Readers Poll.

“2025 will be remembered as a great season for the market, which continued to receive national acclaim and help dozens of local farms and businesses make record sales,” said Burlington County Commissioner Randy Brolo. “There’s still one more market left, so we encourage shoppers to take advantage of this final opportunity to buy for the holidays and stock up on all your favorite produce, baked goods and foods.”
