Burlington County Announces Two Additional Early Voting Locations for Primary Election

Home - County News Posted on May 13, 2025

Early voting for the New Jersey Primary Election kicks off on Tuesday, June 3, and Burlington County voters will have two additional early voting locations where they can securely cast their ballots in-person with a machine.

A total of nine early voting locations will be open during the 6-day early voting period from June 3 through June 8.

The new early voting locations are at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 150 East 2nd Street, Burlington City, and the Cinnaminson Community Center, 902 Manor Road, Cinnaminson.

“Voting is one of the most fundamental rights and we are pleased to offer Burlington County voters two additional polling locations that will be open during the early voting period,” said Burlington County Election Board Chair Heather Cheesman. “The additional locations should make it even easier for citizens to cast their ballots this year during the early voting period when they have multiple days to go to the polls when its most convenient for them and their schedules.”

In addition to the two new locations, the early location in Evesham/Marlton has been moved to the Blue Barn Recreational Facility, 1004 Tuckerton Road, Marlton. (It was previously located at the town’s Gibson House Community Center.)

During the early voting period, voters from any of Burlington County’s 40 municipalities can go to any of the nine early voting locations to cast their ballot with a machine. This is different from Election Day, when voters must go to their assigned polling spot in their town of residence.

All nine locations will open daily during the early voting period. The hours are 10 AM to 8 PM, Monday, June 3 through Saturday, June 7, and 10 AM to 6 PM on Sunday, June 8.

All nine early voting locations are as follows:

  • Burlington City at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 150 East 2nd Street;
  • Chesterfield at the Chesterfield Township Municipal Building, 295 Bordentown-Chesterfield Road;
  • Cinnaminson at the Cinnaminson Community Center, 902 Manor Road;
  • Evesham at the Blue Barn Recreational Facility, 1004 Tuckerton Road;
  • Medford at the Medford Township Municipal Building, 49 Union Street;
  • Mount Laurel at Rowan College at Burlington County Student Success Center, 1500 College Circle;
  • Pemberton Township at the Pemberton Community Library, 16 Broadway;
  • Tabernacle at the Tabernacle Rescue Squad, 134 New Road;
  • Willingboro at the Willingboro Public Library, 220 Campbell Drive.

Any registered voter is eligible to cast their ballot at an early voting location. However, only declared Republicans and Democrats can cast ballots in the New Jersey Primary Election. Unaffiliated voters can participate by declaring a party affiliation with the Republican or Democratic party in advance of the election or at the polls during early voting or Primary Election Day.

Declaration forms are available from the Burlington County Superintendent of Elections or online at https://www.co.burlington.nj.us/301/Superintendent-of-Elections . Completed forms should be returned to the Superintendent of Elections office in-person at 301 Harper Drive, Moorestown or by mail to PO Box 6000, Mount Holly, NJ 08060.

Voters who have already requested or received a vote-by-mail ballot but appear at an early voting location or Election Day polling place will need to vote on a provisional ballot to ensure that multiple votes are not cast by the same person. All valid provisional ballots are counted in the vote totals for each election.

Vote by mail

Registered voters from either party can still request a vote-by-mail (VBM) ballot from the Burlington County Clerk’s Office now until 3 PM on June 9. Vote-by-mail applications are available online at https://www.co.burlington.nj.us/996/Vote-by-Mail-Information .

All requests to receive a vote-by-mail ballot must be received by the Clerk’s Office no later than June 3. After that date, registered voters must go in-person to the Clerk’s offices at either the Burlington County Elections Building at 301 Harper Drive, Moorestown or the County Clerk’s Office at 50 Rancocas Road, Mount Holly to make a request in person. The final day to request and receive a vote-by-mail ballot in person is June 9 at 3 PM.

Completed VBM ballots can be placed in any of 29 secure drop boxes located throughout the county. A list of the drop boxes is available at https://www.co.burlington.nj.us/2102/Secure-Ballot-Drop-Boxes .

Voters may also hand deliver VBM ballots directly to the Burlington County Board of Elections office at 301 Harper Drive, Moorestown or they can be sent to the office via the U.S. Postal Service. All completed VBM ballots must be postmarked, placed in a secure drop box or hand-delivered to the Election Board before polls close at 8 PM on June 10.

Voters with questions about the election and voting process can call the Burlington County Elections hotline at 609-265-VOTE (8683).
