Important Information

  • All checks addressed to this office must be made payable to “Burlington County Sheriff’s Office” or the “Sheriff of Burlington County.” 

  • Cash payments, whether at sale or at completion of sale, will be limited to $2,000.00.

  • Special Announcement regarding the Community Wealth Preservation Program (CWPP): Effective November 21st 2024, in order to reserve your place in line, all those purchasing properties under the CWPP must register online through the sheriff’s website. This online registration to reserve your place applies to defendants, next of kin, tenants, and non-profits. Registering your place in line through this forum does not relinquish the necessity to submit all required documents to the sheriff’s office three days prior to the sale. Registering your place in line will open at 8:00 am on the day of sale and close at 11:30 am. After 11:30 am you will need to register your place in line when the doors open at the sale. A link will appear below when the online registration is open at 8:00 am. The link will be removed when the online registration is closed at 11:30 am.
